After countless prayers, hundreds of fliers, 34 days/nights of searching and trapping, dozens of false alarms and two OTHER little black kitties who now live here... TAG IS HOME! :)
Linda's note: This past winter Tag was rescued from the underground train tracks at Suburban station downtown. Apparently he'd been living in the tunnel about 18 months, since he was a kitten. When Sammie found out about him she organized a few seasoned rescuers and managed to get SEPTA to agree to allow them to go down onto the tracks to set up traps. Took a few days, but they got him! She'd only had him a few months before the movers showed up at her old apt. and accidentally let him out. Since his disappearance Sammie's rescued two all-black stray kitties in response to calls made by folks having thought they sighted Tag. Very lucky kitties! Thanks to all those who kept an eye out for Tag, made phone calls, and who care about our strays! :-) |
