Thanks to those who responded to my questions about local Art Deco and early film making, as well as Liz Lemon (not that I watch the show, but 'duh!' Btw, I'm loving "Happy Endings," and continue to love "Modern Family.") And, oddly enough, to tie it all together, Liz Lemon is a film- (okay, TV-) making, film (TV) character who works, in her real and fictional world, in an Art Deco (right?) building.
Laughed out loud at the quote Amara provided: "It's leaving me thinking: Will I have to change the name of my show from '30 Rock' to 'Industrial Park on the Schuylkill'?" - Tina Fey on the merger of NBC Universal and Comcast Regarding a different post (sorry to tangle threads) - and I realize this is a very serious topic, and for all I know, deserving of merit - however, I couldn't resist: what does Disney's character, Pluto, have to do with the subversion of our democratic principles? That's just not right! He should stick to cartoons, theme parks, and cereal-selling; he has no business brainwashing our children with his subtle, animated cartoons! - Ricky / RiCo
