We discussed town hall fees on our public list years ago. When the civic associations were redefined as the face of our local governments. Their leaders defended charging fees for participation in all public discussions and decisions like the clark park redesign. (Remember, "put your money where your mouth is")

Once the plutocracy understood that communities and individuals around the country would be largely silent about this slippery slope, they new that democracy fees could be imposed more aggressively to silence the masses. Undoubtedly, fees will soon be charged for calls, letters and emails to politicians before they are thrown out

Some information about "fracking" of local interest. It's a good example of the merger between the corporations and the state at all levels of government, commerce and "science." I mentioned this ideology in a reply to Bill.
