Hi, All,
Lt. McBride sent this response when he learned of the recent mugging. If
you know the victim, can you urge him to notify the Police and file a report.
Thanks.
Fran

Fran,
Sorry to hear about this unfortunate attack. There have been no other incidents
of this type in the area that have been reported to Police, but I urge
residents to report any and all crimes and suspicious activity to Police, so
that I may properly deploy my officers.
Thanks,
Lt. Brian McBride

Hi, Lt. McBride,
Here are responses from two people in University City about the attack. I
recognize that one of them attended our last meeting a week and a half ago with
Sgt. Washington.

Thanks for the information. Why wouldn't he report it? It's important to be
able to establish a pattern of this type of incidents, even if there is no
obvious benefit to the victim.
Definitely! And, if someone does get caught, people will be needed to verify
the identification.
Hit in the face with a brick? The perpetrator is totally without regard for
others. A threat would probably have achieved as much (if you can call it
"achievement").
