Hi

I know UMC relocated. I also know they lost their best tech just before
they lost their lease on 40th Street. After going to the new location a
couple times the only thing I'll get there is a cable or something if I
really need it - and hope they have it. They would be my last resort if
something were to go wrong with my rig. And I'm no computer tech/geek
person.

But was looking at an older desktop as a "just in case" backup. First they
wanted way too much for something that was like 4 years old, second no one
wiped and reinstalled the O/S on the harddrive!!!!!!!!!!!!, third they told
me they could up the RAM and after coming back home and first finding out
just how old and overpriced the computer was and that that particular
computer could NOT have the upgraded RAM, that pretty much unsold me on
them. That and the time I watched one of the "techs" trying to fix a cd-rom
on a laptop - wouldn't stay closed (it happens). Thought it was fixed, then
it popped open again. The "tech" then picked the laptop up and started
banging it on the countertop. Not cool.

And yeah on the 2 apartment buildings! That should be fun ...
