Rick, They have been doing this for years. I call hiding the "public meeting" learned meeting helplessness.  They are sending out a message that people in this neighborhood have no chance of debating them or fighting their abuse of power.  All of the people, who were alerted and set aside this time to attempt to reason with these bullies, will show up to their wild goose chase and leave in frustration.  They won't come next time feeling helpless against the power of these bullies.  And believe me, the bullies are always ready to personally attack anyone who complains about this illegal tactic !   Why won't they ever invite the groups they are planning to remove instead of telling me to do so?  Because this tactic wastes enormous time for everybody and is the basis for their personal attacks Vice President Siano was out stalking volleyball players from a distance on Sunday when he clearly watched me stop the game and inform the shocked and outraged people, who kept saying, "but this is a public park."  He hadn't invited them to this "public meeting" and they knew nothing of the planned attacks against them. People often don't understand why I have made sure to publically document all of the various FOCP abuses and lies over the course of many years while they attack me for doing so.  People on this list can clearly see for themselves how the FOCP leaders deliberately sent me and the victims, soon to be forcefully removed from Clark Park, on this wild goose chase.  When they started the Quality of Life Task force they did this every week.  UCD or FOCP would cancel meetings an hour before the start time, and any park stakeholder I invited would receive a call only an hour before a new rescheduled date and time.  (They did this to Grover many times because he was going to come as a  Volleyball player)  Fuck the FOCP leaders.  I'm contacting the journalists I invited to let them know of this illegal violation of the FOCP by laws.  And I'll explain to them why FOCP is trying to waste everyone's time. They routinely violate their 501 c 3 charter and the rules of order when they want to bully and silence.  I'm going to contact and hopefully work with legal authorities on the planned violations of the US Constitution.  Trying to reason with FOCP leaders is like trying to reason with a huge pile of horseshit!
