Here is a very important investigation by Daniel Denvir in the City Paper.   I think people need to better recognize the link between the "philanthropy" foundations and the neoliberal agenda destroying the planet and enslaving the people of Philadelphia. In the vast wasteland of corporate media, Denvir is doing the rare journalism that Philadelphia needs.

"...Along with funding a new plan for the Delaware River waterfront, the foundation has heavily funded PlanPhilly, a journalism outfit that covered that plan, and other development and public-space issues. And it has funded — and will now defund — It’s Our Money, a joint project by WHYY and the Daily News focusing on government matters..."

You may remember Nutter's "the people's budget" and Penn Praxis too.  More than anything I've seen, this report might help local people begin to see how interconnected all aspects of the neoliberal agenda and propaganda campaigns work behind the scenes.  These foundations are central to the deceptive interconnected campaigns pushing the privatizations, gentrification, and police state convergence.  All of the marketing spins, from the special services districts and school/park/library privatizations to greenwashing, are designed to manipulate and deceive.  People need to stop looking at these deceptions, as if it is harmless spin, and recognize that all of this web of the plutocracy is the reason we are kept so completely in the dark.

It's only when people realize how completely these "visions" are rigged and interconnected that we will join together to free ourselves and have hope to save the planet!  Their vision is a small plutocracy in Oz like central cities, while the rest of us live as slaves while the planet dies.

This article is important for all parents, teachers and students to talk about.
