City officials have become such regular liars, they can't keep these straight. This law is effective in all city parks. A picnic permit or special event permit are the only exceptions, in this law, allowing 3 or more people to eat together in city parks. If you read the pathetic lies in Contosta's propaganda in the UC Review, you will understand the problem. Yes, the city believes they can violate the 14th amendment rights of those they deem undesireable (see above quote). And yes, by comparing and contrasting the picnic permit with this anti-homeless law; any group of three or more people eating in Clark Park can face arrest if the FOCP leaders or UCD wants to target you. I wonder if Contosta and the UC Review are still laughing it up with their unnamed city officials??? Compare this pathetic propaganda with today's report:
"DiBerardinis, however, said the ordinance had been under discussion since the 1990s — long before the Barnes move was proposed" In the mid 1990's, we learned that Penn first launched the special service district movement and the NID/BID neoliberal agenda (Paul Levy described his meeting with John Fry at a tightly controlled UCD BID meeting.) FOCP/UCD attempted the first known permit attacks against our constitutional rights in the early 21st century at the Quality of Life Task Force. DiBerardinis has no credibility, but you can see by this statement they have been plotting against our right to assemble for a long long time! Vindicated truth teller, Glenn
