The University City Historical Society used to have a house tour every year,
and we're hoping to get back onto that schedule again, beginning this fall.
We're planning a 2012 house tour for Saturday or Sunday, October 13th or 14th,
in the afternoon. It will be a walking tour, centered on & near Baltimore
Avenue. We'll be looking for participation from some restaurants, as well as
homeowners. Plan to come!

Right now, we're looking for interesting houses to feature on the tour, and we
need your suggestions.

Tour houses could have special architectural features or well-preserved
original details - or, they could be totally changed in a unique way. They
could have great gardens (though it WILL be October!), or renovated kitchens,
or special furnishings and/or artwork - these are just a few ideas that would
be interesting to tour-goers. I'm sure you'll think of others, too.

How about your house? Or can you suggest the homes of friends and/or
neighbors? Or, is there a place you've always wanted to see, that you'd like
us to try to persuade?

Please email me so that I can begin organizing the tour!

Thanks,
