Is there a STOP sign there now? If not, it seems unlikely that it was
legitimately removed - but, if people are actually stealing traffic lights now,
that's really incredible!

Subject: [UCNeighbors] Missing traffic light at 43rd and Baltimore

I just notified the 311 people about the missing traffic light at 43rd
and Baltimore, by Clark Park.

The traffic light _was_ on the southwest corner, across from the Best
House. There is a metal cap on the pole, so maybe Streets removed it,
but there's also a ratty rope hanging from the cap, so maybe someone
stole the light.

I left my contact info with Streets. If they did remove it-- after all
the street opposite is one way, moving away from the light-- then they
ought to learn that that intersection has a lot of pedestrian traffic,
and a traffic light is very much needed.
