Much of the developing world, under American forced dictatorships, shows the reality of privatization. In Bolivia, for example, water was costing half of a families income before the people said "NO". Privatization is not the free market capitalism that the corporate duopoly, Republican/Democrat, pretends to demand. Corporate controlled monopolies enslave the people; its not the business efficiency they lie to us about.
"Democrats everywhere were inspired by Rahm's corporate crusade to privatize Chicago, so much so that Bill Clinton organized a national conference of Democratic Party mayors to promote the idea. This from the official press release of the Clinton Global Initiative:
"I was thrilled when Rahm Emanuel set up America's first urban infrastructure bank in Chicago, and I see this ongoing conversation among America's mayors as an important step towards finding a workable model that can be replicated in every other city around the country," said [former] President Clinton

It's simply absurd to claim that one corporate party is less evil than another. Occupy is absolutely correct that change is not possible through a meaningless vote. I'm happy to vote for Dr Stein and Honkala, who are vastly superior across all the policy issues and represent hope and life. The Democrats are actually more effective at quietly pursuing the real goals of the plutocracy, including the Supreme Court, the wars, and privatiztion. Most middle class people are completely lost in delusions and sound bites. i hope folks on the list are finally starting to wake up!
