Dear Glenn, Unfortunately this is not news.
I wish people had cared about it when they were property speculators in our neighborhood. Since then people have bought, sold and owned properties here for the last 30+ years; obviously this is not the time to complain about what has been done. The time for this was when they used people of color in order to get neighborhood real estate in the name of community development and then shut those people out once those funds were granted. NOW is the time to protest properties already proposed by City Planners which will be built at Public Schools sold by the SRC. These schools are in areas where Drexel, USP, Temple and Penn are expanding. There will be place for poor people of color to get an education. THIS is the fight now.
