Yes, the real money making agenda has been cloaked, while the middle class has had its anger, racism, and ignorance tweaked. I read the blog posts after school reform PR, and I see the awful things ignorant people say about teachers. I've been called many of the same names when receiving their hate.

 

Too many of the middle class have refused to see the true sabotage of public schools that has been going on for decades. They believe the full propaganda package of "school reform" and fail to see that many teachers and schools have been heroically serving the children despite the terrible sabotage. With their self righteous belief in their superiority, they refuse to see how poverty and defunded schools were always the cause of poor education outcomes in poor neighborhoods.  In their ignorance, they insist that their superiority and divine right is the only difference between them and those they despise

 

Led by the corrupt corporate media, they refuse to see the true agenda against poor and working class communities, the bleeding of public funds, and the destruction of the teaching profession. 

 

If this school reform agenda is so good, why aren't wealthy gentrified neighborhoods calling for the destruction of their schools?  Hatred, racism, and classism seem to be the drivers of their emotions and thought processes.  Wall St, their politicians, and Penn understand their current attacks as the end game in the struggle for global corporate totalitarianism. 

 

Single issue protests and hope in the corrupt Democrat party is useless and leads to helplessness.  We are long past the tipping point, and only a massive uprising can save the schools, planet, and America.

I know and I agree.

However, my biggest concern is the total elimination of any semblances of Democracy by denying education to ONLY the children of the well-off and the appropriation of public real estate to Private "Entre"Manures".

It never should have gone this far!

Phase Two of Charter School Expansion is already underway in Brooklyn, NY. Charters are luring the rich, White families who reside just "over-the-line" from the the Low-Income Black and Latinos whom they promised the Moon and the Stars if they would endure humiliation and Lotteries in order to enroll in a "Public" Charter.
