Good morning everyone, First of all, the best thing is that JJ is one of the most amazing human beings I know! A talented idealist with heart whose ideas have caught hold in Philly in a big way - just go take a look at the airport garage to see (What? Are those photos of dancers I see stretched along walls and walls of concrete??? Who did that? ). And second of all, amazingly he lives HERE. And works here at the new Cedar Works studio space at 49th and Pentridge. Anyone who knows me knows that art and artists who live here are my delight, and I'm just so proud that JJ can be counted in that illustrious crowd. JJ is in the midst of launching his next BIG project that he wants to impact the entire city of Philadelphia with, and he needs all of us to help. He is working to bring healing to self-images all across the city, through the lens of his camera, and the resolute belief that "everyone is photogenic". He has about a week left in a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds. If we all pledge $1, it will take him a long way towards the goal of funding something that will makes its mark for a long time to come, and which we can claim was nurtured and conceived of HERE.
