Thanks.  This looks like an important talk, but I won't be back in the UC police district.

 

All of the US//European wars of the twentieth century were caused and driven by bankers and corporations.  It's so important to study the mechanics of propaganda as well as the role of universities in thought control techniques. 

 

 

You should also look at the 100 year history of propaganda against healthcare as a human right. It's very relevant today.  The current idiocy in what passes for health care debate between the corporate ruled tea party and the corporate ruled democrats will be much more understandable if you study the propaganda history concurrent with the red and hun scares.   

 

I don't know if you were following the local civic associations and university propaganda when their favorite slogan was "put your money where your mouth is"   How could our neighbors be so unbelievably blind to the anti-democracy foundation of that slogan or its goals?  Or  blind when the propagandists declared that the people of West Philly were all criminals to justify plutocracy, brutality, and the police state? 

 

Answer: The power of propaganda and thought manipulation!!!

 

I often bemoan the addictions and mass insanity of the American middle class and our local gentry.  In order to deconstruct and understand its roots, I think its vital to study the history of propaganda and mass thought control.

It sounds like Spanish judge, Baltasar Garcon, but I'm not sure. He was one of the great investigative judges looking into the human rights crimes of fascist regimes. Wall St took him down for that same belief and they will try to destroy his contributions.

JavaFlix (an amazingly great program), will be showing a film, this coming Saturday, called "We Steal Secrets" (which is a quote from an American military spokesperson). It is a film about WikiLeaks by the acclaimed documentarian  

Alex Gibney (the Oscar-winning Taxi to the Dark Side, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room and, most recently, the devastating exposé of sexual predators in the Catholic church, Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God).

Less than half a year ago I had looked up some info... (and I had posted about it on FaceBook), about an International Law Judge (fairly sure that he was Scandinavian..?) who had recently said something like "It must never be illegal to report the crimes of a country" ...but recently now, I've spent a LONG time on Google trying to find ANYTHING about it and totally CANNOT. Of course I have no easy access to my old FaceBook stuff... <sigh> 

I can't remember if the Judge had applied the legal observation directly to the case of one of the various whistleblowers that was being imprisoned, hounded, or prosecuted.  Does anyone remember the Judge's actual title and name, ...or maybe some more of the specific details??
