A young boy asks his father, "Dad I have to write an essay about politics but I really don't know what it is. Can you help me?” "Well," said the father, "Let's take our home as an example. I am the bread winner, so we'll call me Capitalism. Your mom is the administrator of money, so we'll call her the Government. We take care of your needs , so we'll call you the People. We'll call the maid the Working Class and your brother the future. Does that make it clearer?” "I'm not sure," says the boy, "I'll have to think about it." That night, awakened by his baby brother's crying, the boy went to see what was wrong. Discovering that his brother had pooped his diaper he immediately went into his mother's room and found her sound asleep. He then went to the maid's room where, peeking through a keyhole, he saw his father in bed with the maid. He knocked tentatively on the door but neither one responded . So he returned to his room and went to sleep. The next morning he said to his father,"Dad I think I know what politics is." "Good son," said the father, "Now explain it to me in your own words." The boy explained, "Well, Dad, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being completely ignored and the Future is full of shit.”
