The Bird In The Cloud Today
As I looked upon the cloud
So soft, and lite, and free
Far away, the maddened crowd
And I alone, by the salty sea
With mind adrift in Magicland
And heart beats lost in love
Methought I spied above the sand
A beautiful pure white dove
So strange a sound I thought I heard
Buzzy, buzz, buzz, buzz
Coming from this heavenly bird
In my ears, must be some fuzz
But as my eyes were focused there
And I stood on the rocks and stone
Then suddenly, I became aware
This bird was a Predator Drone
So then I turned my gaze away
And the bird and my mind would fly
It’s happy thoughts I want today
The kids of Magicland never die
As I looked upon the cloud
