Our governments and corporations are using outrageous fees and fines to attack us.  This Washington Post report gives a snapshot of how this works.  The broken window law that I posted yesterday is part of this same corporate/government attack!  Don't be fooled by the lies, propaganda, or studies from industry front groups or government officials.  These evil attacks against people are gut wrenching (please read carefully).

What our Philadelphia government is doing with schools, debt, prisons, etc. is a neoliberal model that is being used around the country and was done around the world by the IMF, WTO, etc.  The enslavement of entire populations with debt tricks was done in Africa, South America, and Asia.  Now it's arrived in the US and Europe!

Some of you may have recently experienced new "re-connection" charges too.  ATT recently cut me off without notice, after throwing away my on time payment.  Then I discovered they outsourced collection and wanted a $40 re-connection fee.  Of course, it's an automatic computerized re-connection and the fee is completely extra profit.  It seems they tried this on me because I had a huge amount of "rollover minutes"  They thought I would stay with their thieving corporation to protect those minutes!

What you see in this report, against the most vulnerable citizens, is just another new tactic for windfall corporate profits.  The corporate driven governments are part of this attack.  They are coming for all of us; no longer just the poor and elderly!!!!!!!!

"But under the watch of local leaders, the program has morphed into a predatory system of debt collection for well-financed, out-of-town companies that turned $500 delinquencies into $5,000 debts — then foreclosed on homes when families couldn’t pay, a Washington Post investigation found.

As the housing market soared, the investors scooped up liens in every corner of the city, then started charging homeowners thousands in legal fees and other costs that far exceeded their original tax bills, with rates for attorneys reaching $450 an hour."
