I just want to spread the word that our long-time friend and neighbor, Ardie Stuart Brown, is in a local play that sounds like it will be really good. Ardie is an educator, dancer, writer, and actress. The show is built around little known actual slave writings from before, during and after the Civil War. It will be at Mt. Carmel Church at 58th and Race. Performances are Friday at 8:00, Saturday at 4:00, and Sunday at 1:00, and cost $10.
