Absolutely.  It should be expected from the glorification of bullying and violence in our society, and the lower literacy levels of cops and others, with regard to history and the humanities.  We tend to glorify bullying across our middle class culture, and yet many act surprised when it spins out of control.


The cops are almost never held accountable for their blatant criminality, including murder.  People should note how corporate media portrayed the disclosure of the video and truth, as a voluntary release by the police!  On the release by RT, everyone can see that a citizen journalist captured the execution video!

The blatant lies of the police, as a whole, dispel the good cop myth. Yes, a cop that tells the truth about the criminality of the so called "bad apples" would need great courage.  However, their code of silence is complicity and conspiracy in the war against disempowered communities. 

If any of us lied like the cops do to protect their gang members, we would be charged, found guilty, and caged as if we had pulled the trigger ourselves!  The protesters and the black community are well aware of this double standard for the army of the 1%

The description which I had heard on the news the night before, by a police officer was that the ‘perpetrator’ had his right arm up over his head with a knife - in the downward stabbing position - and charged at the cop (and he raised up his own arm > and totally acted out the scenario)… 

The video shows nothing like that.  

One shot in the leg would have apprehended - but instead, 8 or 9 Automatic rounds were used, much like an execution in Vietnam or in Syria, or like the deliberate putting down of a rabid dog.  

More and more cops are becoming increasingly addicted to bullying and slaughtering American citizens; and they are in massive denial about that.
