[UC] Playground permits exposed, video

Here is a report and video to show one aspect of the truth about permits for public space. This is a deja vu moment for me. 

When the FOCP gang was anointed, as the pawns of the UPenn corporation, they wanted exclusive use of Clark Park for their private soccer field.  They wanted permits to be denied to all others, and arrests of dog owners.  They claimed that others put too much wear and tear on their soccer field.  I fought this same battle for several years.

When the Penn corporation got their mayor, all parks were secretly declared "permit required" zones, a demand piloted in the "quality of life" task force right here almost 15 years ago.  Permit costs for long term community culture are now prohibitive.  But the FOCP and their masters can give themselves waivers from these permit fees.
