Subject: [PFSNI] anyone able to get a message to Joe Biden?
I know that Biden will not be joining Penn right away but does
anyone have a way to contact him? One of the organizers of “Take
Action Philly” (see below) would like to extend an invitation to him
to speak at this event. This will be the first of what is expected
to be a series of convenings aimed at enabling the Phila-area legal
community to support and defend vulnerable communities.
Thanks in advance for any help getting a message to him. And please
register to attend this!

Philadelphia's Legal Community Partners
to Form 'Take Action Philly'
Initiative to Help Protect & Assist Vulnerable Residents
Convening Number One:
Immigrant & Refugee Policy
The Philadelphia Bar Association, with the support of the City of
Philadelphia and several non-profit legal aid organizations, has
formed Take Action Philly (TAP) - an initiative uniting lawyers,
government, community organizations and residents to protect and
assist some of Philadelphia's most vulnerable residents. Together,
we will identify ways to become involved and engaged in response
to federal and state policy decisions.
Through this unprecedented effort, TAP will convene local public
and private sector lawyers, as well as community members and the
general public, for a series of discussions. The goal of convening
is to educate Philadelphia's legal community about the anticipated
impact of federal and state policy decisions in various topic
areas, and identify an action plan for people to get involved.
The first event of the series will focus on Immigrant and Refugee
Policy. Members of the legal community are encouraged to attend
and learn how to take action by working together to design
solutions that can truly make a difference in the lives of many of
our residents.
