I see in your log that alacarte is removed. This package only exists in Dapper
and your sources.liste also contains Breezy entry.
I ask you confirmation, bug I'm almost sure that the problem is in your apt
config.
I've just installed readline4 on a beta2 dapper bix, and nothing was removed.
