This exact problem is happening to me also since I upgraded to Jaunty. Note I also downgraded from what shipped with Jaunty: 0.13-3ubuntu4 to version 0.13-3 (from Hardy) which was running perfectly fine for me forever to see if this problem would go away and it has not.
