NX is a client-server protocol by NoMachine which allows low latency remote 
control of desktops.
It works much more responsive than VNC, and is as responsive as Microsoft RDP.

Since no usable RDP server is available for Linux, this is the only solution 
except VNC to the problem of its kind.
But VNC works so bad over large latency links, making it unsuitable to control 
machines across the Internet.
We also need to tell the world that the slow VNC protocol is not the only 
protocol open source people can achieve!

Upstream source is at http://www.nomachine.com/sources.php .
We need nxserver and nxclient, but they pull in quite a lot of dependent 
packages also from the page.

I am aware of concerns that nxserver is a patched random snapshot of an 
xserver, which may be a security nightmare.
However, the above justification should motivate us to attempt working around 
the problem as much as possible.
