I'm using the 64 bit native flash player as shane fagan suggests on an AMD64 rig running Karmic (25th Sep 09). It is very stable for me.
I downloaded the libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz file from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html. I placed the extracted libflashplayer.so file into /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ I removed nspluginwrapper using synaptic. and then rebooted (looks very messy if you don't reboot) -- Firefox flash problems (npviewer.bin crashed with SIGSEGV [with attached backtrace]) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
