The bug exists still in the new karmic release - fprint works fine with gdm, screen-locking and in the terminal, but gksu does not give any message, that you should swipe the finger. However, if I swipe my finger, the command is executed as root.
Starting gksu in a terminal it prints the message on a terminal, but no graphical message. -- fprint: GKSU and GDM aren't asking to swipe the finger over the reader https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/347778 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
