This is filed against lightning-sunbird. Do you actually mean
Thunderbird or Sunbird?
Does this also happen for a new user? (try in a guest session). It might
be that something in your profile kills it.
Do you see any output when you call "thunderbird" in a Terminal? If so,
please copy&paste it here.
