Julien, I don't think I can help you any further. I have never tried installing or booting from USB keys, so I just assumed it would work the same way as for CD, but apparently it does not. Maybe someone else can help you with installing from the alternate ISO-image via USB-key.
I'm a little bit surprised that Ctrl+Alt+F2 doesn't work, though. Does CapsLock still turn on and off the light on you keyboard? (if it doesn't, the kernel has crashed) Hopefully someone else can provide the necessary logs... -- [Intrepid] intel driver xorg not compatible with intel gma900 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
