Sorry, this doesn't mean anything to me. I'm just following the instructions for reporting a bug. I don't even know if you want a reply to your email or not.
The message in terminal said :" It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your gcc version." I don't know what a gcc version is either. The message also gave a link for reporting a bug in mplayer, but it was a link to a document that does not exist. I've spent three weeks trying to sort this problem out. I've had several people on the forums advising me, but got nowhere. I have no idea what to do about it. I'm going to wait for 10.04 to come out and then do a fresh install. Maybe that will fix it. 2009/12/31 Dave Gilbert <[email protected]> > This really doesn't look like gnome-terminal, probably mplayer or one of > the codecs. > > > ** Package changed: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) => mplayer (Ubuntu) > > -- > player won't play bbc radio listen again programmes > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501196 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > > Status in “mplayer” package in Ubuntu: New > > Bug description: > Binary package hint: gnome-terminal > > This problem only applies to BBC iplayer radio "listen again" programmes, > for a user outside the uk.
