This is a dupe of bug 298611. I tested with ia32-libs 2.2ubuntu18 (from
Intrepid) and wine works again, although with a possibly unrelated
issue: E: shm.c: Invalid shared memory segment size. In any case, this
proves it's an ia32-libs issue.
