** Description changed:
I am experiencing generalized, inconsistent display corruption with
Kubuntu 8.10 beta on my Thinkpad X200.
Sometimes it is confined to certain windows, sometimes display-wide. I
cannot see any pattern to cause this or duplicate it.
Often it will occur when opening a new window or other redraw-heavy type
events. For example. I have included a screenshot. When I open this from
Dolphin, it will be corrupted until the point when it is completed
loaded, at which point it will "stabilize" and show correctly.
In the attached screenshot, there is the obvious corruption on the left
hand side of the screen. Also, on the bottom of the screen in plasma,
some features are not drawn.
