Hmm, I was a bit too quick for that call it appears; it did work properly until I rebooted. Now I try to reproduce the steps to fix it, but I still get the initial behaviour.
A recap of the steps taken: - fresh install of Jaunty - Installed netbook meta package - put netbook-launcher and maximus in autostart-sessions - reboot State: it's incredibly slow and not usable - Removed it from sessions, reboot - Enabled bling in Appearance (effects) - filed bugreport - started it with CLUTTER_VBLANK=none netbook-launcher - black background with artefacts when mouse was moved - disabled bling in Appearance State: It works fine! - enabled netbook-launcher and maximus in autostart-sessions - reboot State It sucks again! :S I've tried disabling netbook-launcher and maximus in autostart-sessions, but cannot reproduce the working configuration. My videocard is an Intel 945GME. Thanks, Ger. -- netbook-launcher extremely slow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317026 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs -- universe-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/universe-bugs
