Thanks for listening. I concur on the existence of the error. Current Intrepid 8.10 on dell i640m laptop, fresh install. This worked in hardy on the same hardware, network connection and remote system. I launch tsclient from the launch panel and get the rdp window, logon to XP, and there is a small residual window of the connections list left over, that stays on top of the tsclient window. All I can do is keyboard commands and the mouse will move over the window but the screen (entire screen not just the rdp session) will not accept any mouse commands. I can then disconnect from the remove using the keyboard. Next I connect again and the mouse seems to work. Somehow the *inconsistent* problem behavior starts at launch. This may be related to something blocking in X11, after I have this problem a reboot of ctl-alt-backspace gets me out of it.
