Same problem on Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 w Sun Java: Azureus 3.1.1.0 tries to upgrade forever to 4.1.0.0. I changed Java from default ubuntu conf., but no luck with Vuze; the rest works wonders with the sun java plugin 64 bit. Thanks to all!
