something new, after I'd to hard reset my device, I could synchronize it the 
following way (but unfortunately only once!)
note: I almost kept all previously created settings/files on my computer. 
that's how it worked:
- create new partnership on device (synce-create-partnership...)
- removed the old partnership directory on my computer under: 
~/.synce/partnerships/
- removed the old synce-db files under ~/.evolution/calendar/... and 
~/.evolution/addressbook/... (e.g. 
calendar/local/system/calendar.ics-synce-sync.db

that's it. after the first successful synchronization I got all entries
on my mobile. after that, same problem again... any updates on my
evolution calendar couldn't get synchronized anymore...
