pulseaudio already works _a lot_ better in 9.04 and the intel xorg drivers will
probably start to work well as soon as upstream has finished the transition to
UXA (hopefully this will be done for 9.10 but there is no guarantees ofc).

As for your bug report, it would be useful to know exactly which chipset
you have. Do you think you could boot some live CD that works (possibly
in text based rescue mode if necessary) and then run "lspci -vvnn" and
attach the output to this bug report.
Also if you have a camera, can you please take a photo of the error?
