Hi, There are some problems with your proposed update:
You have used debhelper compat 7, but haven't increased the version of the dependency on debhelper, and don't seem to make use of any debhelper 7 feature, so it doesn't seem worth it. You have also removed the watch file, why is that? Have you sought to have your changes included in to Debian? There are many people in #kubuntu-devel that would help you with that.
