I'm wondering if anybody created entries in the convert.conf file that
would use an program like MikMod to create a wav file that can then be
used by slimserver? module to flac would be better network wise but
that would require a double conversion. Of course with today's
computers mixing a module doesn't take a lot of CPU.
Not sure either how to make slimserver scan *.it, *.mod, *.s3m, *.xm,
and a few other module extensions?
Theoretically yes - you would need to create a Slim/Formats/Mod.pm (or similar)
which would extract needed metadata from the sample files.
Entries in convert.conf and types.conf as well.
