Hi, I think that there was a bug with 2.2 regarding working with hubs (it always runs full duplex). As long as you're running with a switched network (most likely) , you should be OK with 2.2. I run 2.2 on a switched network as I can't be bothered upgrading to 2.3 - I've never seen a problem.

Background: I've just installed the 6.2.0 release of Slimserver for Linux. My new Squeezebox2 did a firmware update and is now 2.6. My older Slimp3 tried to update but appears to have failed. (It still functions, however.) I have tried to perform a manual update as described in the FAQ, but this release of the server doesn't have the "slimp3" directory with either the "update_firmware.pl" program or any .HEX files as previous releases had. -- dullard ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dullard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2193 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=17940 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
