offhand, I'd say this was a problem with the prefs file. The first
time you run
6.2, older prefs files should be converted to the new format. However,
something might not have worked here. Try moving your prefs file somewhere
else and run the server again. It will create a new default prefs file, but
hopefully won't have those errors.
assuming its the same place as on redhat-type systems, the prefs file is in
/etc/slimserver.conf, or ~/slimserver.pref
