Yeah, sure! I have installed, and upgraded, Slimserver, on my Kurobox HG (the nearly open-source version of Linkstation). Works like a charm. You just have to build the perl modules the first time. When you upgrade you can ignore it. Be sure to upgrade to a fresh version of Perl (is it 5.8.7?). I have installed Debian on my box. Highly recommended.
