I got a response from the Yahoo Linkstation Group. To Summarize: The instructions at fieldnetworks.com should work out fine on an HD-HG Linkstation, with no additional files needed, assuming the Perl install referenced on that site is used. People seem to be having trouble when they use the Openlink install from Linkstationwiki.org as a shortcut to gaining root access. There are a few things missing as has been discussed here in other threads. Openlink is required for MIPSEL Linkstations, though.
