Good evening --

I want to generate m3u playlists with a script, automatically putting
all new files in a given folder hierarchy into an often refreshed
playlist. In a former life I just used to cat my filenames into a
textfile named playlist.m3u. Looking at slimserver's playlist, I
noticed they have some meta information attached to the different items
- it's not just simple file lists anymore.
Can I nevertheless just add my playlists to slimserver's playlist
folder or do I need to create this metadata, too? Maybe there's a tool
around that can help me do that? I'm running debian sarge.
