Ok so I guess I need to put a couple of custom lines into slimserver-convert.conf to invoke mplayer to transcode my aac and alac files. I see examples for FAAD2 but can't seem to find the info for mplayer.
I want to end up sending the aac/alac music in uncompressed format OR transcoding to FLAC. Can I assume that my linkstation would be happiest with just decoding to WAV/PCM rather than also encoding to FLAC to save bandwidth?
