Thanks for posting this! Been having the same issue using 6.5b1. Here's what I did: - Manually download the latest deb package from http://packages.debian.org/unstable/sound/sox - dpkg -i sox_12.17.9-1_i386.deb (or whatever package version they're up to by the time you download).
