Of course the source is available in svn. I was refering to a debian src package, usualy when one builds packages (rpms or debs) you provide a src package and make a deb-src apt repository. If people knows how to use it it simplifies a lot since it provides the debian-package control files which makes it simple for users to supply patches, download and build the package from source with one command etc. To be honest I haven't checked the svn repositories for the debian src-build stuff since I'm so used to have it in a deb-src apt-repository. It makes it trivial for the Amd64 and Mac people to try to build it on their arch. Is the debian control stuff in svn? (thats a bad question, I'm off to check the svn-repository out). It's great to have a .deb of slimserv, the .tgz installation I've been using was simple and has worked like a charm =) -- eviladmin ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eviladmin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4670 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20603 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
