Are you trying to stream from the same PC or to another PC? In your music player (anything but WMP) choose "open URL" or some such option. Type in "http://your-server-ip:9000/stream.mp3";. Say OK and hit play. Nothing will start yet. What this does is connects to the server and alerts it there is a player. Once that is done you can open the web interface and add songs.
