I did find some instructions for installing on Ubuntu (probably from the threads you are referencing) which got me mostly working, however my playlists never worked at all under 6.2.1. When they released the .deb, I uninstalled my tarball and deleted my slimserver user and installed the .deb from the repository and everything just worked, including my playlists. Yay.
I realize there is nothing forcing me to upgrade. It would just be nice to be able to add a stable repository so that new stable releases of slimserver get magically upgraded with my other packages. Slimdevices seems to be on this path, so I'm happy! -- jay_cee_in_da_house ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jay_cee_in_da_house's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1830 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22548 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
