Boy, now I think I'm waisting everyone's time. I swear I did a clear and rescan before I came to work with ss pointed to an empty directory, it still had the double entrys. I just ran a clear and rescan again from work and it came back as 0 albums with 0 songs... So I set ss back to my music library and it has scanned the directory and the results show the correct number of albums/songs. Perhaps I wasn't paying enough attention and I did a "changes" scan instead of a clear and rescan. Sorry. Still, some good info, thanks kdf!
